Regionalization
Though history is most commonly studied portion of social studies, geography is undeniably the most practical aspect of the field. It's fabulous if you can tell me all about the Safavid Empire, but if you don't know that it was located in modern-day Iran, part of the Middle East, then all that knowledge would be useless on an essay. That is why it is crucial to know the AP world regions and the civilizations that belong in each. On this page you will find important regions to know for the exam, as well as some useful historical maps.
